Netflix Signs Deal with Adam Sandler for Four Movies

The movies will be available exclusively to Netflix members from 50 countries.

Netflix announced that they will work alongside Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions to make four movies as the streaming service continues to grow more and more every single day. Everybody can agree that this is a big move for Sandler and even though Netflix announced plans earlier this week that they will release Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend, nobody expected this deal with Sandler.

“When these fine people came to me with an offer to make four movies for them, I immediately said yes for one reason and one reason only….Netflix rhymes with Wet Chicks. Let the streaming begin!!!!” said the actor in a statement.

Happy Madison Productions has offered us many movies like Little Nicky, Mr. Deeds and Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo and some recent tittles include Jack and Jill, Blended and the Grown Ups films.

Ted Sarandos, the chief content officer at Netflix said “People love Adam’s films on Netflix and often watch them again and again. His appeal spans across viewers of all ages — everybody has a favorite movie, everyone has a favorite line — not just in the US but all over the world,”

The actor’s films rank among the most viewed by Netflix member and I’m not talking here only about U.S. The actor is currently working on Pixels and stars in the upcoming indie drama titled The Cobbler which had the world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.
