The first full trailer for Transcendence is here and it looks really nice! The movie starring Johnny Depp, Kate Mara and Morgan Freeman centers on the AI researcher, Dr. Will Caster (Johnny Depp), who is obsessed with creating a machine which is capable of human emotions.
The trailer shows that some anti-tech activists are trying to kill him and they actually shoot him. The thing is that his wife (played by Rebecca Hall) has the idea of uploading Caster’s consciousness. This way, the machine that he was always thinking about can be created.
Transcendence is directed by Wally Pfister and is also starring Morgan Freeman, Paul Bettany and Cillian Murphy. We have to be patient because we can watch it only when it hits the U.K. cinemas on April, 2014. Until then, here is the trailer that I’ve been talking about in this post:
